POSITION DESCRIPTION: This 3rd shift position is responsible for ensuring proper sanitation of all equipment. This position requires food processing sanitation experience. Duties include:
• Directing and monitoring sanitation employees as they clean equipment;
• Supervising employees: hiring, scheduling, evaluating performance and terminations;
• Training sanitation personnel;
• Maintaining inventory and purchasing of sanitation supplies;
• Performing inspections of plant, equipment and parts for cleanliness;
• Maintaining SSOP documentation and reports on inspection findings and accidents;
• Observing budget allotments for 3rd shift sanitation wages and supplies;
• Troubleshooting microbiologically compromised situations or conditions;
• Ensuring timely production start-ups by physically working alongside the sanitation crew if needed.

| Experience: |
|
• 2+ years sanitation experience in a food processing facility;
• Skills in identifying sanitation problems and working with sanitation equipment;
• Knowledge of all related federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations;
• Mechanical background and/or a basic understanding of mechanical concepts;
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
