OPPORTUNITY FACTS: Our client company is a niche market leader in the food processing industry. They pride themselves on their innovating and developing ideas for their products. They are located in south central Iowa, where the beauty of country living easily combines with the vitality of nearby cities.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are seeking talent with proven leadership and management skills in the food processing and spray-dry production industry. This position will be responsible for achieving production volumes and planned efficiencies while ensuring quality standards. Other duties:
• Supervising the Production Supervisors;
• Ensuring plant operations are in compliance with regulatory, quality, and company requirements;
• Effectively communicating to production personnel at all levels;
• Providing systems and processes to provide timely feedback to supervisors on operations and performance;
• Developing team member skills;
• Providing outstanding customer service for internal and external customers.

| Experience: |
|
• 5+ years management/supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility;
• 3+ years of spray-dry and dairy ingredient manufacturing;
• Technical expertise in spray dry manufacturing;
• Demonstrated competency in quality standards and quality execution;
• The ability to understand and utilize KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to identify potential trends and results;
• Proficient in problem-solving and contingency management;
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and team work skills.
