OPPORTUNITY FACTS: Niche market leader in the food oil processing industry, on the rise even as the general economy experiences very slow growth. Great recreational area with colleges and universities close by.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: You will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and recommending solutions to plant instrumentation processes. Duties include:
• Ensuring the safe operation of the electrical and instrumentation departments;
• Performing and/or supervising plant maintenance;
• Troubleshooting and helping to correct computer software and hardware, PLC, mechanical system, electrical control system, and instrument control system problems;
• Scheduling calibrations and inspections of E/I equipment;
• Coordinating projects with outside contractors and management staff;
• Developing written training programs;
• Installing and setting hardware and software configurations;
• Working with management on E/I upgrades.

| Experience: |
|
• One or more years of experience working with industrial electrical and motor control equipment;
• PLC (programmable logic controller) programming experience;
• Ag industry experience preferred;
• Knowledge of proper instrumentation installation, repair, and calibration procedures;
• Excellent communication, organizational, project management, and training skills;
• Must be detail-oriented.
