Research & Development for cookies and crackers background is required for this position. Duties include:
• Providing technical leadership in improving existing products, emulation of targeted products, and initiating new products;
• Contributing creative solutions and technical expertise on multiple projects;
• Ensuring that all assigned products are manufactured in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements, and customer guidelines;
• Functioning professionally with outside product and process development consultants and traveling as required;
• Leading and driving the program for reformulation cost management.

| Experience: |
|
• 10+ years experience in Food Manufacturing, Quality or Operations;
• Must have 5+ years experience in cookie and/or cracker R&D;
• Familiar with Food Safety and Quality;
• Knowledge and experience with AIB and government requirements;
• Familiar with statistical process and control tools and techniques, any supervisory experience is a plus;
• Knowledge in food chemistry and statistical analysis as used in designing experiments and measuring process capabilities;
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent coaching and training skills;
• Creative, pro-active and able to think outside the box;
• Able to travel 50-75% of the time;
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite applications.
